Groundhawk Oy is a Finnish technology company based in Espoo, at Miestentie 7, Swing House.
We develop and deliver solutions for mapping and documenting underground infrastructure — such as electricity and fiber networks — with centimeter-level precision.
Today, over 40 contractors in 6 countries use Groundhawk to capture real-time, high-accuracy data from the field.
With more than a thousand active users and thousands of kilometers of trenches mapped, Groundhawk is becoming the trusted standard for digital infrastructure documentation.

Our Story
Groundhawk was born inside Advian, a Finnish geospatial consulting company, during an innovation competition by Caruna.
The challenge: for decades, trenches had been surveyed only after being filled — leaving networks with inaccurate or missing location data.
The team saw a better way.
By capturing as-built data directly during construction, infrastructure could finally be digitized with true precision — improving safety, quality, and efficiency in every project.
That vision became Groundhawk.
As interest grew, the technology was spun out into its own company — focused entirely on redefining how underground networks are mapped and documented.
Today, Groundhawk continues to push the boundaries of field data capture, helping contractors and network owners build smarter, safer infrastructure for the future.
